Whether it's for a casual event, a private party, or a lively gig, we're available to perform around the Seattle area and are eager to share our music with new audiences.

Our Group:

Zandy Owens, guitarist

Guitarist

Zandy Owens

I love playing the guitar, especially in a combo, with all of its complexities. From arranging chords melodies, soloing, and comping, I love being able to find the best way to make all the sounds of the combo fit with the guitar. In a trio, we have limited instruments, but a full spectrum of sound, so being able to find what the moment needs in terms of voicing or melody, is crucial. I have been playing guitar for 9 years, and have played all around Seattle and beyond, as well as collaborated internationally.

Matthew Asbury, drummer & percussionist

Drummer & Percussionist

Matthew Asbury

I've been playing drums since elementary school and have always loved it. Whether it's locking into a deep groove or navigating a tricky rhythm, I love the challenge and connection that comes with making music. Playing in a jazz combo provides a place where I can enjoy the art of music with others.

Chet Martin, pianist

Pianist

Chet Martin

My name is Chet Martin, and I've been playing piano for over nine years. During that time, I've had the opportunity to perform in a wide range of styles, from classical and jazz combo to pit orchestra, big band, and solo repertoire. I'm thrilled to bring that experience to the Zandy Owens Combo and to be part of such a creative and dynamic group.
